ALI BABA' 'U PALERMO IN SERIE A is a chronicle of events taken from the legendary day when Palermo football team finally made a come back into the top division after 32 years. ALI BABA' 'U PALERMO IN SERIE A is a film about football in which football the fans, the general public, have the main roles. They put on a performance which really expresses their enormous passion, apart from the sport event which has generated such emotions. The documentary is about the making of the celebration after waiting for 32 years and about the anxieties that such event produces in the collective consciousness, a factor of sublimination and personal revenge.
